CHANGE NOTICE FOR MANUAL

TO: County Directors of Social Services
EFFECTIVE May 1, 2002, make the following changes to the Energy Manual.
I. BACKGROUND
The federal poverty guidelines for this year have been received. This change notice provides the updated monthly amounts for FY 2002.
II. SPECIFIC CHANGES
Energy Manual Section 900, Crisis Intervention Program, is revised to update the chart that provides 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2002 (Monthly Amounts). Also, the Poverty Level Chart used to complete the DSS-4274, Summary of Crisis Intervention Program, is being updated to reflect the 2002 poverty levels.
III. IMPLEMENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
Apply this policy effective May 1, 2002
