CHANGE NOTICE FOR MANUAL
(FSIS)

MANUAL: Food Stamp Information System (FSIS) User’s Manual
TO: County Directors of Social Services
EFFECTIVE: October 11, 2004
I. GENERAL
This change notice transmits a revision to the FSIS User’s Manual. The revisions are to screens in section 200 that are affected by the new Race, Ethnicity and Language codes that are to be used in FSIS effective October 11, 2004.
The screens which will display the new codes include the SLNS and SLNC.

II. SECTION THAT HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT CHANGES
Section 200.01 has been updated to include instructions for R/E/L
selection at the time of ID assignments. The name change screen
(SLNC) has been updated to include R/E/L fields.
NOTE: Name Search and Name Change screens in sections 500, 600, 700, 900, 1100 and 1400 will be updated as soon as possible.
