I. GENERAL INFORMATION
The purpose of this letter is to provide policy changes to county departments of social services on the procedures for treatment of UIB verification from ESC and the elimination of ESC/UIB paper match reports.
II. POLICY PROCEDURES
A. UIB information received from ESC or obtained by an OLV match with ESC is now considered “verified upon receipt”.
B. The ESC/UIB Paper Match reports, SLER985-01 and SLE985-02-94, are being eliminated.
III. IMPLEMENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
This policy is effective February 1, 2010. For changes in situation, refer to FNS Certification Manual Section 450.04.
