Manual: Family Services, Volume I: Children’s Services, Chapter XII: Problem Pregnancy Services
To: County Directors of Social Services
Effective: December 15, 2004
Attached to this letter is new Chapter XII, Problem Pregnancy Services. This revised policy was previously located in Volume VII, Chapter VI, of the Family Services Manual. The previous manual Change Notice was issued on March 15, 1993.
There are no substantive changes to the policy, but some language has been changed to be more reader friendly. The website for the current listing of private agencies and maternity homes are provided in the manual. Forms are now on line and are interactive. Please ensure that all staff members who have responsibility for providing problem pregnancy services are provided copies of the new chapter or have access to it via the DSS website.
